Some of you might be asking, what IS yuri?
Yuri (百合, lily) is a broad genre in Japanese media and fandom that encompasses fictional works centered on emotionally significant relationships between women. -Yuripedia

As you can see from these definitions, yuri is a genre of media where the main story revolves/focuses mainly on a wlw relationship. While yuri is the term used for Japanese media, I am going to feature GL/WLW genre in general, not just exclusively Japanese media.
